11 day itinerary | England
DAY 1
Alas!!! Arrive at London Heathrow Airport & be greeted by Sarah, your guide and host. You will be transported from the airport in a luxury coach driven by our lovely English driver. We head off to Avalon, to the Healing Waters Retreat & Sanctuary in modern day Glastonbury. You will arrive and have time to settle into your room, enjoy the beautiful sanctuary and take in the magical surroundings. We will gather for a Sacred Circle orientation & introduction and then enjoy a lovely arrival dinner. Afterward, there will be a Sacred Circle Alchemical Activation for regeneration and renewal at Wearyl Hill to start our journey. Greeting this ancient power spot and the Holy Thorn tree. This location of the Holy Thorn sprouted from the staff of Joseph of Artemathea when he arrived in Avalon. Then you are free to retire and prepare for the wonders ahead!
DAY 2
A beautiful breakfast will be provided for you in the house kitchen. Today we journey into the Labyrinth on the Tor of Avalon. This walk is a powerful initiation. Wear layers and bring your raincoat, for the Tor has weather all its own! We will start at the magical White Spring that comes from under the Tor and is the gateway to the fairy realm. We will activate our Alchemy with the sacred waters and begin our journey. This power center is the heart chakra of the earth and gives the experience of the axis mundi. The powerful activation of the kundalini energy that rises within you, As above-So below, begins the transformational alchemy of your inner fire. This journey will take you down into the womb of the Goddess, to sit at her cauldron and also meet the underworld king Gwyn Ap Nudd. You will travel through each chakra to clear and transform you. We walk with ethereal music of the Psaltery to the ancient 2000 year old Oak trees, Gog and Magog, the last of the couple processional oaks that lined the pilgrimage route the Druids used to walk up the Tor. We journey out of the Underworld flying free with our newfound gifts! We will break for lunch on your own and then gather at the deeply healing White Spring cave for a ceremony of Illumination and Healing. Dinner will be back at our lodging. Then we will gather for a special meeting to learn about Sacred Symbols and Divine Union, and how this language of the soul will guide you on this journey of remembering.
DAY 3
Today will begin with our chakra ceremony in the beautiful Chalice Well gardens, home to the Sacred Red Spring. We will travel the seven pools up to the head of the Red Spring to connect us with the energy of this sacred place. Then, we will walk into downtown Glastonbury. We will view the Isle from this special vantage point and see the Tor in the distance. We will spend time in the sacred stillness of the 11th Century Magdalene Chapel, a special place of unconditional love. We will visit the Glastonbury Abbey where the 1st c. Mary Chapel is located, the first Christian Church of England that Joseph of Artemathea built when he came to Avalon after Jesus' crucifixion. There is a sacred stone carving on the church that represents the union of Jesus and Mary. The Abbey grounds also contain the burial site of King Arthur and Guinevere and the crossing of the St. Michael and Mary ley lines. The Abbey also houses one of the most powerful vortexes in the area. This day, we will lunch at a delightful café in the heart of Glastonbury. All sorts of magical beings have been seen here…even Merlin himself 😉. You will have time to explore the town for shopping at the many unique and magical shops. This is evening we gather and dine back at our lodging and we will regroup later in the evening for Sacred Circle.
DAY 4
Today we will journey to Avebury. These are 4000 year old standing stones and the largest circle complex in all of Britain. This area carries strong Sacred Feminine energy. The Michael and Mary Ley Lines weave their way, creating the Path of the Dragon, as it creates a serpentine figure on the landscape. We will start at Silbury Hill (the mysterious pyramid) and West Kennet Longborrow (a 4000 year old opening built into the earth and created in the shape a human/Goddess, an old burial and ritual site-the womb of the Goddess and entrance into the underworld). These sites will prepare you for the energies that will transfer to you at Avebury. We will do ceremony at these sacred sites to prepare you for the transference. We will end the day seeing the beautiful Wiltshire White Horse (Ancient Norse monument). The white horse carries the Goddess Rhiannon, Goddess of Love, as she completes our journey. Bring your own food for a picnic lunch or there is a café at Avebury if you choose. This is a full day filled with many power centers. Dinner will be at a traditional English pub before we return to Glastonbury. This night you are free to explore where you like and really have time to integrate the energy.
DAY 5
Today, we release our souls and bodies from the intense introspection of Avalon and visit the ancient healings waters that the Celts and then the Romans used for healing and rejuvenation. We start with a visit to the town of Wells, the home of Wells Cathedral. Then we are off to Bath, the town that is home to the ancient Roman Baths and thermal springs. This is a great day of relaxation and regeneration after all the powerful transformational work that has occurred. We will take a tour of these incredible baths and the Temple dedicated to Minerva. You can feel the power of this Goddess that rules over water and springs. Did you walk these stone stairs before? We will have lunch at the famous Pump Room, a beautiful and elegant restaurant next to the source of the healing waters. After the refreshment of lunch, there is a surprise to carry you back in time. We return to Glastonbury and enjoy a quiet dinner at our lodging. Following dinner, you are free to rest, venture out to explore or start packing up your treasures, as we are off to the coast the next day!
DAY 6
This day we give thanks for all the gifts our beloved Heart of Avalon bestowed upon us. On our journey toward the coast, we stop at The Hurler's Stone Circles and have lunch in this quaint town. Then, we are off to the cozy seaside harbor town of Boscastle! We have gone deep to do our inner work and now the journey lightens up to let our soul soar with its renewed life! We will stay at The Riverside hotel overlooking the Valency River. Full traditional English breakfasts are included in your stay here. You will have time to explore my favorite place on earth, as there is so much in this town to feel and remember. We will have a group dinner here (non-host) this evening. After dinner we walk to the beautiful seaside cliffs and chant to Venus and Neptune, listening to the Celtic sea crashing in the night air. We will offer our intentions for this last chapter of our journey. Afterward, there is a great English pub down the street, The Cobweb Inn, where you may want to stop in for some live music and to meet the locals.
DAY 7
After breakfast, we are off to Tintagel to visit the ruins of Tintagel Castle, the birthplace of King Arthur. These castle ruins overlooking the crashing sea carry many stories and memories. Let your soul remember what you left for yourself so long ago. Beneath this castle lies a portal...Merlin's cave where the wind howls magic. We will gather at a special cave in the bay, Goddess cave, for a special Isis activation ceremony. After the ceremony you are free to explore the castle ruins at your leisure, and there is plenty of time for lunch, shopping and exploring the town on your own. You can return to Boscastle with the coach or decide to take the exquisite coastal path along the ocean back to town. Dinner is on your own. This evening we gather for Sacred Circle to share our experiences. You are then free to explore this mythical place. You may walk up the fairy path and listen to the brambles or enjoy the moonlight over the harbor while sitting on a powerful quartz crystal. Whatever you decide, you are sure to be swept away to another place and time.
DAY 8
We head out early for our travels to St. Michaels Mount. We visit this site, which is the most southern point in England near the end of the Dragon Path. We have traveled along this magical trail, the Michael & Mary Ley lines, all the way from Avalon. It is claimed that St. Michael, the Archangel, appeared to local fishermen on the Mount in the 5th century AD. The Cornish legend of Lyonesse, an ancient kingdom said to have extended from Penwith toward the Isles of Scilly, also talks of land being inundated by the sea. The chapel of St Michael, a fifteenth-century building, has an embattled tower, in one angle of which is a small turret, which served for the guidance of ships. Chapel Rock, on the beach, marks the site of a shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary, where pilgrims paused to worship before ascending the Mount. This journey is about using this transformational energy of Michael, or Hermes, or Thoth, the guide of Alchemy, to transmute our dense energies into the illuminated vibration. We offer ourselves up for this transformation along this path. We will have lunch on the island and tour the castle. After we leave St. Michaels Mount, we are off to Merry Maidens Stone Circle. These have been described as the ‘largest surviving standing stone circle in Cornwall’. We will walk (and dance) our way around this circle as we honor the Goddess energy of beauty, pleasure and joy! After our brief time here, we return to the seaside town of Boscastle. Dinner is on your own and you are free this evening.
DAY 9
We start our day with a full English breakfast overlooking the Valency River. After, we will gather for a group pilgrimage up the river valley to pay homage to the sacred Mother spring in Minster woods, just as many have done for hundreds of years. A ceremony here will honor all Wise Ones who have gone before us. The healers, the Priestesses, the monks, the misunderstood 'witch' women, the pirates and smugglers and wizards of old. You will be able to explore the ancient wood of the 'dancing' trees and the 13th century church. Today we have lunch upon the cliff top overlooking the ocean while you enjoy your farm-to-table fare maybe some cream tea! Then we continue our pilgrimage along the path of the Holy Grail and Arthurian Legends. The Arthurian Centre King Arthur's Stone and Battlefield, also known as Slaughterbridge, is where King Arthur fought his last battle and where he received his fatal wound from Mordred. As you walk this haunted field and landscape, do you feel these knights walking with you? What wisdom do they have to share? Here lies the 6th century stone inscribed with the markings of this last battle. Retracing these footsteps and carrying our beloved king home, keep the hope and light of Unity alive that Arthur stood for. You are then free to explore the cliffs or get lost in the glen back in Boscastle. This evening, you are free to have dinner on your own. We gather tonight for a special Sacred Circle to create a talisman of power for you to take home.
DAY10
We awake to the glorious day of Mabon! Our sacred day of celebrating the energy of our Harvest time. Today, we journey to the fairy woods of St. Nectan's Glen and to the Hermitage that is hidden in the woods. We walk down to the Hole-In-The-Rock waterfall where lies one of the most beautiful & pure places on earth. Filled with orbs, this waterfall is where King Arthur is said to have blessed his knights before they left on the quest for the Holy Grail. Here you will be bathed in the light. This place is magic and healing. It will purify and heal every part of you. We give thanks for the healing of ourselves and all lineages that have gone before, assisting all souls to be at peace. Make an offering of love and gratitude to the magical Beings of this place. You will have the opportunity to cleanse yourself in the healing waters. My Priestess of Avalon sister will join us for a soul shifting ceremony on this sacred day of Mabon Eve. We will complete the experience with lunch and cream tea in the middle of this fairy forest, and then make our way down the valley the 4000 year old carved Labyrinth. We make our way to the meeting of the River and Sea, with an Alchemical attunement at Alchemy Rock. We end at the Initiation cave where you will be given a Mabon-Fall Equinox Divine Union Initiation. Tonight, we gather at The Riverside hotel for our farewell celebration dinner (Host Dinner). We share and celebrate our pilgrimage. We join together again for a Sacred Circle on the cliffs overlooking the Celtic sea and give thanks for all we have received!
